Remember Siva Ramakrishnan? He is the one who headed the committee to advise the upcoming capital of Andhra Pradesh after the State division. He is suffering from a serious illness for a long time and he breathed his last this morning.
Siva Ramakrishnan toured all the districts of Andhra Pradesh and studied the resources available there. The committee later submitted its report to establish the Capital at Donakonda. It is alleged that Siva Ramakrishnan was a stooge of UPA government and prepared the report in favour of Donakonda where Congress and YSR Congress leaders bought huge quantities of land expecting a real boom. However Chandrababu Naidu government totally ignored the report and chose Amaravathi.
Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy paid a rich tribute to Siva Ramakrishnan. He went on to say that the real tribute to Siva Ramakrishnan is to follow the report his committee submitted on Andhra Pradesh’s upcoming Capital.
