High-Court-kcr

A house motion petition was filed in High Court today on the Telangana Micro Level Survey tomorrow. The petitioner said that Government just gave a circular regarding the Survey but according to the rules, Survey can not be undertaken unless there is a government G.O. So the petitioner requested the court to stall the survey. The Advocate General of Telangana argued that government clearly stated about the survey in GO number 50.

The advocate general also brought to the notice of the court that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao yesterday announced that the participation in the Survey is optional. The high court agreed to the government’s argument and clarified that it can not stall the survey now. Over 369,000 state government employees, including police and teachers, will conduct the survey across 10 districts of Telangana and survey 8.4 million household on August 19th i.e., tomorrow.
