The talk about a possible Nalgonda By-Election is getting intense. Rumours are that sitting MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy will resign sometime in the next week. TRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao reportedly set a target of 5 Lakh Majority for the party.
He also instructed them to ensure BJP’s candidate loses his deposit at any cost which will make sure that Amit Shah is shown his place in Telangana. Even a One Lakh Majority will be still big as Nalgonda is the bastion of Congress from a long ago.
TRS managed to win just one seat in the district (then) in 2014. So taking on Congress in its stronghold means that KCR is adamant to show his strength. He believes that TRS should win with at least 50% Vote Share and that will crush the morale of the opposition parties ahead of 2019 elections.
