Hyderabad Takes Centerstage once again as the first Metro Rail started its run and the city is hosting the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) for the first time. Even as Hyderabad has its moment of glory, the man behind the city’s growth, Chandrababu Naidu is missing.
Chandrababu Naidu Government in the United State first initiated Metro Rail Project and got the necessary approval for Central Government funding in 2003. The project is the testimony of Naidu’s foresight for the city and finally, it got translated into reality just now.
GES is happening in HICC, Madhapur. Hell broke loose from the opposition back then when Naidu first proposed the construction of the World Class Convention Center. Naidu even sowed the seeds for the International Airport and Outer Ring Road.
He is the first one to embrace the IT boom and put Hyderabad on the World Map and the ecosystem he has created ensured that Hyderabad is the perfect choice for Global Summit happening in the city. But then Naidu is absent in the moment of glory due to politics as well as aftermath effects of Bifurcation.
