The BJP State Unit finally reviewed the recent debacle of the party in Telangana Elections. Instead of owning the responsibility of the humiliating defeat, they have unanimously declared that it is a collective responsibility for the party failure which means no one can be really pin-pointed for this mistake.
JP Nadda who is the in-charge of BJP in the elections fired at Telangana BJP leaders saying “we gave you all the logistical support on par with ruling states, yet you had a dismal performance”. A strong report is being prepared against the current leadership and the Seniors which will be forwarded to Amit Shah.
Demands are that some of the lesser known but hardworking leaders like Sankineni, Bandi Sanjay, Achari should be brought into the limelight and give the party reins. The experiment of Swami Paripoornananda also failed miserably in the election which means the party has to go for a complete overhaul of its strategy for the Parliament Election.
But the major problem is that we are just a couple of months away from the release of the Parliament Elections Schedule. So, it is too late for any corrective measures. Also, it has to be seen if the party could withstand any sudden shock treatment at this crucial juncture. BJP is desperately looking at Telangana to at least win a couple of seats.
