Telangana Government has tabled the Report of Controller Auditor General (CAG) Report in the Assembly a little while ago. Much to the embarrassment of the IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao, CAG identified irregularities in the construction of T-Hub Second Phase.
Due to this, an additional expense of 16.7 Crore is incurred by the State Government. It is known that T-Hub is the brainchild of KTR. CAG also alleged irregularities of 18 Crore in Sand Sale. Sand Sale comes under Mining Ministry which is also held by KTR.
CAG also alleged that the Government has not submitted Utilization Certificates for the funds used and in some cases, UCs were submitted even before the release of funds. CAG also found fault with taking up some works even though they have no priority.
