A baby in national capital named after taxi booking company ‘Uber’ after she delivers a baby boy in Uber cab. A pregnant woman booked the Uber cab after repeated calls to the hospital for an ambulance went unanswered.
The pregnant woman along with her two friends asked the driver Shahnawaz, to take them to nearby state-run hospital. In the middle of their journey, the pains were heavy and driver forced to stop the vehicle. He made his cab as labour room and a baby boy got delivered. Then immediately he took them to Safdarjung hospital and admitted them.
The baby naming ceremony will be held on Sunday where Shahnawaz has been invited by child parents to name their child after the cab company Uber. This is apparently the first baby in this country with that strange and unique name.
