KCR Response Hyderabad Rains, TRS KCR Response Hyderabad Rains, TRS Government Drainage Hyderabad Rains, KCR Blames Congress Hyderabad Drainage Heavy RainsTelangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhara Rao who is missing in Hyderabad when the first ever crisis hit the city and his government, finally came back the other day and immediately pressed for the damage control. After reviewing the situation at the ground zero, KCR took to media to save the face of the party and the government. On expected lines, KCR blamed the previous governments for the plight of the city roads and drainage system.

He also said that only 10% of 90000 Kilometers of Roads in Hyderabad are bad and media is exaggerating the issue. Probably this is a statement which even hardcore TRS supporters will not buy. The drainage system is something which was planned decades ago, estimating the future use. But then the population in the city since the Chandrababu time, increased by multiple folds.

The drainage infrastructure did not improve along with the growing population but encroaching of lakes and water bodies increased. Subsequent governments including the present TRS government did not do anything about that. Two and half years is a lot of time even for TRS government. If not for finishing, it is enough time at least for starting something. But nothing really happened.

Simple road works have not improved in the city. Forget about only 10% being battered, not even 10% of them are not without pot holes. Instead of taking this as criticism, KCR government needs to take it feedback. All sections of Hyderabad inforced their faith on TRS including the settlers. People will not buy criticizing the previous governments, those parties were kept aside because people thought TRS will perform better.
