Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy represents Dhone constituency in Kurnool. YSR Congress had won the constituency two times after its inception and is said to be the Forte for the party. Buggana won on in 2014 and 2019 as well. The situation is same six months ago as well.
But ‘Change’ has started. In the Panchayat elections three months ago, TDP has registered stunning results. TDP defeated YSR Congress in Buggana’s own constituency as well. The newly appointed incharge Dharmaram Subba Reddy is said to be working wonders for the Cycle party.
He has activated the cadre with committees at the village level and is meeting all the noted personalities in the constituency and is requesting their support. He is also most vocal actively taking up protests in the constituency in various issue and also by questioning the corruption.
Some of the Rebel YSR Congress leaders and activists are openly praising Dharmaram. TDP cadre is confidently saying that Buggana will lose this time and Dharmaram will enter the assembly in 2024.
