A couple of days, YSR Congress Senior Leader, Botsa Satya Narayana went on to tell media that the Party will consider an alliance with BJP if it severed ties with TDP. This announcement has sent shudders to the party which is gearing up to Nandhyala By-elections in which Muslims form a major chunk of voters.
There are indications that things are not all is well between TDP and BJP and now this announcement of a possible alliance between YSR Congress and the Saffron Party may lead Muslims towards supporting TDP’s Candidate. So, Jagan had started corrective measures.
He arranged a meeting with the MPs and asked them to fight with the center for the Special Status, Kadapa Steel Factory and Vishakapatnam Railway Zone.This is to give a secret message to the people that they are at loggerheads with BJP. At the same time, they can not openly condemn alliance with BJP as it may backfire in the form of Jagan’s Cases.
