Narendra-Modi-and-Amit-Shah-Doubting-Jagan's-Congress-BloodPrime Minister Narendra Modi is sworn in as the Prime Minister of India for the Second Time. 58 Ministers including Narendra Modi took oath in Rashtrapathi Bhavan a little while ago. Modi has rested seniors like Arun Jaitley, Suresh Prabhu, and Sushma Swaraj this time and opted for 25 new cabinet ministers.

Number Two in BJP, Amit Shah was inducted into the cabinet for the first time. Both the Telugu States got a rough deal from Modi. Only Kishan Reddy got a place in the Cabinet while there is no representation from Andhra Pradesh. Probably, Modi and Shah decided to leave out AP because the party delivered a miserable performance.

Kishan Reddy who registered a stunning victory from Secunderabad was not given the Cabinet Rank and only got Minister of the State which is more like a namesake portfolio. BJP managed a sensational performance in Telangana winning Four Parliament Seats even then Modi did not try to add more faces from Telangana.

There were rumors that Andhra Born GVL Narasimha Rao may get a place but he was left out. In the last term, Venkaiah Naidu being in the cabinet benefitted AP a bit, it will be really tough time for the state in the next five years having no leverage at the Center.
