Despite Criticism, Andhra Pradesh Govt Continues to Fund Jagan's Personal PropertiesThe Boston Consulting Group (BCG) had submitted its report about the Capital of Andhra Pradesh and the Decentralization of Development in the State. The Representatives of BCG met Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his Camp Office a little while ago and handed him their report.

The High Power Committee that was appointed by the State Government will look into the GN Rao Committee and BCG Report. The Cabinet will discuss both the reports on the 8th of this month. The High Power Committee was asked to submit its final report in three weeks.

Once the High Power Committee submits its report to the Government, the Chief Minister will go to Delhi and appraise the situation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He will explain to them the reason for this decision and why he could not continue Amaravati as the capital.

This is to ensure that the Central Government also co-operates with Capital Change. The Government is also thinking on the lines to convene a Special Assembly session in the last week of January or the first week of February to ratify the report.
