BJP-Trying-to-Give-Clean-chit-to-JaganThere were reports that BJP led central Government is in a secret agreement with Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to push Chandrababu Naidu out of Power. But they could not go into a Pre-Poll alliance since YSR Congress will be losing out on the votes of Minorities. Jagan, however, will support BJP in a Post-Poll scenario.

But then, the actions of the Central Government and Jagan very much reveals this secret understanding. Jagan criticizes Chandrababu even on Central issues while BJP slows down all the cases on the Opposition Leader. And now, ahead of the elections, BJP wants to create an impression that Jagan and BJP are not the same.

BJP President Amit Shah will be coming down to Kadapa on 18th of this month and will interact with the Party’s Booth-level party workers there. Kadapa is the native district of Jagan and a YSR Congress Stronghold. BJP has zero stakes there. Going there will give an impression that BJP is serious on Jagan’s territory as well.

At the same time, it will do no harm to Jagan and will only create a perception that BJP and Jagan are not on the same page. This is the first visit of Amit Shah to Andhra Pradesh after TDP walked out of the NDA Government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also visit Andhra Pradesh in February.
