Telangana State BJP Unit has forwarded to their party high command a list of 12 constituencies which they are confident of winning. They have told the Party High Command that the chances of their winning in these constituencies are very high and if they do, KCR will be forced to form a Post-Poll Alliance with them.
Five of the 12 seats are in GHMC limits and the rest are in the other districts of Telangana. BJP President Amit Shah had ordered his Survey Team to ascertain the party’s chances in these constituencies. After getting the Survey data, the party high command will fund for the BJP candidates in such winning seats.
BJP has won five seats in the last elections when contested in an alliance with TDP. The party is contesting alone in this elections and Political Analysts feel that it will be a massive achievement if the party manages to win five seats this time. The party despite have no alliance commitment is yet to announce the first list of candidates.
BJP is totally unprepared for the elections but Modi and Shah co-operated with KCR for early elections with a hope of the latter coming to their rescue if NDA falls short of numbers in 2019 General Elections. Telangana Elections will happen on December 7th and the results will be out on 11th.
