BJP Rajya Sabha MPs Complain to Amit Shah Against Law and Order in Andhra PradeshLocal Elections in Andhra Pradesh are witnessing never-before-seen violence in recent times. There are allegations that the Ruling Party is trying its level best to register a sensational victory in these elections and declare the results as a Referrundum to their rule.

In the process, some candidates of the opposition are not being allowed to file the nominations and in some places, all efforts are being made to make their nominations invalid. Police and Election Commission appears as if they are cooperating with the ruling party, the Opposition alleged.

BJP Rajya Sabha MPs – GVL Narasimha Rao, TG Venkatesh, and CM Ramesh have complained to Union home minister, Amit Shah that the police in Andhra Pradesh actively connived with the ruling YSR Congress Party. They allege that YSR Congress is trying to win elections through unfair, undemocratic means.

They request the intervention of the Hime Minister to ensure the elections are conducted free and fair. They asked the Home Minister to restore the law and order situation in the state.
