BJP Pull Out of the Government in J&KBJP has pulled out of the Government in Jammu And Kashmir stating that the Law and Order have gone for a toss in the state under the PDP Government. This happens a few hours after National Security Advisor, Ajith Doval met BJP President Amit Shah this morning.

BJP several times in the past has termed PDP as an Anti-National Party but teamed up with the same party in 2015 to form the government saying it would bring peace to the troubled state. Ram Madhav who stitched the alliance now says only Governor’s Rule is Tenable now.

It has to be seen if the state will go for a Fresh Election or a new alliance is possible to claim the power. BJP has 25 seats in J&K Assembly while PDP has 28, National Conference has 15, Congress 12, and others have Six (including Two Nominated).
