BJP MP Hari BabuThe BJP’s wishlist to Telugu Desam Party does not seem to be ending. TDP Supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu so far is co-operative to their alliance partner as he recognizes the importance of the support of central government. But now BJP has placed a very difficult demand before Naidu.

It is reliably learnt that BJP high command is asking the Chief Minister to nominate their candidate as the prestigious Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Chairman. The coveted post has numerous applicants from the ruling party. Naidu himself promised the post to Chadalawada Krishnamurthy before the election. But now BJP is asking the post for Vishakapatnam MP, Hari Babu.

Hari Babu is also the President of BJP’s State Unit. BJP high command has promised Hari Babu a cabinet berth at the center but could not accommodate him and so is asking the post for him. Naidu is in a real fix in this issue and the entire TTD board announcement was put on a hold as a result. We will have to see how Naidu handles this issue!
