The results of recently concluded Jharkhand and Jammu & Kashmir elections seem to be heading towards the projections of the Exit poll results. BJP is staggering towards simple majority by winning and leading in 43 seats just one seat away from simple majority. In Jammu and Kashmir, PDP became the single largest party with 28 seats while BJP managed 25. While Congress is shattered in Jharkhand, it has still options wide open in J&K with coalition government likely with PDP.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah lost one seat while managed to win another by just 960 votes margin. The state’s deputy CM also lost the election. Back in Jharkhand. stalwarts like Arjun Munda,Madhu Koda,Babulal Marandi have lost in Jharkhand.
