Devendra Fadnavis - BJP GHMC Manifesto releasedA few days ago, Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay opened a pandora box saying GHMC would pay the pending challans for the youth who were penalized by the Traffic Police. The promise invited criticism from other parties and also the civil society.

The national media also highlighted the issue and criticized BJP. It looks like BJP had realized the damage it caused and committed that promise from its party manifesto released this morning. However, another controversial COVID-19 vaccine found its way.

It did not mention the vaccine as free after such an announcement created a huge uproar in the Bihar elections. “Corona vaccine and testing to all as per central government stipulations, the manifesto said. The party also mentioned free travel for women in all the public transport including Hyderabad Metro.

BJP has criticized the same when Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made a similar announcement.
