BJP led Central Government is adopting the same policy as that of Congress – Ignore A Demand for a Long Time and Let it die a natural death. Similarly, they have pushed Railway Zone into Cold Storage taking their interests in Odisha into consideration.
But then, Vishakapatnam MP Haribabu is struggling to do that since it will be the deciding factor for him in the next election. The MP the other day, was telling that “Forming a railway zone is a political decision. It will be taken at an appropriate time”.
The State BJP President added that the Centre would take an appropriate decision on formation of a new railway zone with headquarters in Visakhapatnam. Odisha’s East Coast Railway Zone will become untenable if Vishakapatnam Railway Zone is accorded.
