Main Opposition Party, Bharatiya Janta Party opposed Telangana Bill for the violation of constitution. Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley pushed the notice to Rajya Sabha Chair. TDP and Trinamool Congress Leaders also pushed similar notice. Rajya Sabha was adjourned for 15 minutes as the house was not in order and even Arun Jaitley was not allowed to speak.
A little while ago, Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde introduced the bill in Rajya Sabha with Congress MPs from other states protecting him. BJP spokesman later confirmed that they are committed to Telangana and justice to Seema Andhra. He also made it clear that Jaitley is opposing only constitutional violations but not the Telangana Bill. On the other side, Congress leaders say there is no constitutional violation and BJP is just playing dubious games.
