KCR---Governor-ESL-Narasimhan-ESL Narasimhan was the Governor of Andhra Pradesh before the bifurcation in 2009. He continued to be the Governor for both the Telugu States even after the bifurcation. Very recently, Andhra Pradesh got its new Governor in the form of Odisha BJP Senior Leader, Bishwa Bhushan Harichandan.

Now, he is relieved of Telangana duties as well. Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has been made the new governor of Telangana replacing him. However, KCR who had very cordial relations with him after the bifurcation is keen to take Narasimhan as an advisor to the Telangana government so as to avail of his vast administrative experience.

Usually, Governments accommodate Senior Bureaucrats like Chief Secretaries in Advisor posts after the retirement. It will be a first if a retired Governor gets such adjustment. Governor is the First Person of the State usually. It will not be befitting to the level of that Office if Narasimhan becomes an advisor to the Government after Retirement.

Buzz in the Political Circles is that KCR is mulling this move to counter the threat of Hindu vote bank polarisation of BJP as Narasimhan is known to be a devout Hindu in both the Telugu States.
