Telangana Rashtra Samiti has just lost its senior-most leader Etela Rajender to BJP. The Former Health Minister joined the saffron party in Delhi the other day. Meanwhile, there are reports that BJP is gearing up to deliver another shock to the Pink Party in Telangana.
Rumors are rife that Zaheerabad MP BB Patil is ready to join BJP. BB Patil has been not happy with the way TRS high command has been treating him. He is unhappy that his men are being ignored in nominated posts in the district. Moreover, the son-in-law of a Congress leader who contested against Patil is calling shots in the constituency.
Things did not change even after informing the Chief Minister. So, Patil is keen to leave the party. BJP lost momentum after the defeats in Nagarjuna Sagar by-election, MLC elections, and Corporation polls. The party is back in limelight after Etela’s admission.
Furthermore, there are rumors that there are many disgruntled TRS leaders including sitting MLAs and MPs who are looking at BJP. It has to be seen what TRS leadership does about them.
