YS Jagan Government Frustrated LegislatorsHow do you gauge anti-incumbency in a Government without elections? In the first step, we see the leaders losing control of the party leaders and MLAs. In the second step, we will see defections in other parties.

The first step will happen one-one and a half years before the elections and the second step will happen closer to the elections. The first step is happening right now to Jagan.

We have seen two MLAs defying the power of Jagan and talking to the media against the Government. Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy openly talked about notices to pensioners and attempts to remove pensions embarrassing the government.

And then, there is Anam Ramanarayana Reddy who openly said “Em Chesamani Prajala Daggaraku Velli Votlu Adugutham?”

Myllavaram MLA Vasantha Krishna Prasad openly dropped a hint of joining TDP if needed. And then, there are leaders like Rachamallu Siva Prasad Reddy and Madisetty Venugopal who made comments against the Government.

That is an indication that MLAs no longer fear Jagan or his popularity. That should be the first worrying sign for Jagan and naturally, the second step will follow soon if remedial measures are not taken.
