Education-eyes-Seemandhra

With the political state of things resolving in the Seemandhra region, it seems that there will be a flourish in educations as well. Earlier, colleges had removed students from city headquarters to other centres in order to prevent disruption of studies, but now, colleges are preparing for setting up new branches all over the region. Two major corporate collage groups Sri Chaitanya Group of Institutions and Narayana Group of Institutions which previously had their headquarters in the city have now made the decision to set up several new institutions in the Seemandhra region. These two groups recently had a merger and are now planning to set up as many as 140 new colleges across Seemandhra.

Officials have said that possible locations include Prakasam, Krishna, Nellore, East and West Godavari and that the proposals with regards to the setting up of the colleges had been sent to the requisite board in the last academic year itself.
