YSR Congress has announced Shilpa Mohan Reddy who joined the party from TDP recently as its candidate for Nandhyala Bielection. Shilpa who was the TDP Candidate from here in 2014 was refused ticket after TDP leaned towards Bhuma family in this election.
Akhila Priya, Bhuma Nagi Reddy’s daughter who got the ticket for her cousin, Bhuma Bhramanandha Reddy is spearheading the campaign. Talking to a News Channel, Akhila said Nandhyala Bypoll is her responsibility and will be quitting politics if TDP does not win there.
Akhila had to enter politics after the sudden the demise of her mother, Shobha Nagi Reddy just before 2014 elections. She was inducted to the cabinet after her father, Bhuma Nagi Reddy expired due to a cardiac arrest. However, she seems to have grown confident politically in no time.
