The Bhoomi Puja for Kia Motors Plant in Anantapur will take place on 22nd February. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Several People’s Representatives, and Kia Motors President will be gracing the ceremony. The government has handed over the land after levelling the ground.
Basic Amenities like Power, Drinking Water and Roads are being readied. Kia’s first car from this plant will roll out by the end of 2019 with over 50 percent of the components made by the supply chain vendors in Andhra Pradesh.
Selected AP as its home for its first ever plant in India, the company will be making a whopping 13000 Crore investment and will provide 10000 Employment Opportunities. The government has allotted 600 acres of land for this project.
