A News Report by Praja Shakti says that Telangana Government has decided to transfer Bhadrachalam including the famous Rama Temple to Andhra Pradesh. This is in lieu of the Secretariat Buildings Andhra Pradesh has given away in Hyderabad to Telangana. Bhadrachalam was in Andhra Pradesh before Telangana and Andhra got merged to Andhra Pradesh.
The Temple Town in given to Telangana after the State Bifurcation. Even though the Ram Temple is in Telangana, the lands and other properties of the Temple are in Andhra Pradesh posing administrative difficulties. Topographical issues are arising because the people of Seven Mandals that were transferred to AP will be commuting through two states due to Bhadrachalam being in Telangana.
The News Report says that both the State Governments have decided to sort the issue amicably. We tried to check the authenticity of this report with our sources in Telangana Government. “We do not know how this report came in. We have no clue about it. Giving Away Rama Temple is next to impossible,” the source said.
