Interesting events have happened in the context of Telugu Politics. BJP which is in a complete josh after Dubbaka by-election tried to take Janasena for granted and Pawan Kalyan retaliated for the first time sending a clear message.
Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay told the media this afternoon that the party will have no alliance with any party including Janasena. This unilateral announcement came as a shock to Janasena and Pawan Kalyan also responded strongly.
Minutes after that, Pawan Kalyan announced contesting the GHMC elections alone. Reliable sources say that BJP was only offering 10-15 seats to Janasena while Pawan Kalyan is not accepting anything less than 40 seats. Telangana BJP leaders felt leaving more seats to Janasena which is weak in Telangana means gifting those seats to TRS.
Even while the talks are happening, Bandi Sanjay came before the media to make the announcement. Janasena contesting the election will prove to be detrimental to BJP as it will eat into Opposition votes and also, a section of settlers may look at Janasena.
Sources say that some BJP leaders are in talks with Pawan Kalyan to convince him to backtrack. On the other side, Political observers say Pawan Kalyan has sent a strong message to BJP AP unit as well which is unilaterally announcing putting up a candidate for the Tirupati by-election
