The BC and Minority leaders of YSR Congress party are extremely displeased with the party’s decision to ignore them. YS Jagan is busy constituting several committees of the party over the last one week. Except for the SC, ST, BC, Minority units, Jagan allotted five of the remaining 7 units to the same caste (Reddy) leaders. Majority of those are Jagan family members or those who did not work for the party at all.
The BC and minority leaders of the party are totally disturbed with Jagan’s decision and they are questioning Jagan’s caste partiality. Anantapur district BC and minority leaders have conducted a meeting and sent in a resolution that they are all going to resign from the party if Jagan do not change his decision and give equal representation to all the castes. It is said that there is displeasure in the leaders of other districts as well and they are also gearing up to mark their protest. It is becoming increasingly tough to lead the party in the wake of the recent electoral defeat, we will have to see how he pacifies one and all.
