Basic Fundamental Missing in Janasena - BJP AllianceAlliances are one of the basic structures of Democracy. Alliances are often formed on the basis of party strengths with a hope of strengths of both the parties add up and make them stronger together. In any alliance, there is a strong partner and relatively less strong or weak partners.

The strong partners are the parties that have more popularity or vote-banks and such parties will dictate the terms and agenda of the alliance or coalition. But what is happening in the case of Janasena and BJP in the name of an alliance is completely different.

Janasena is the more popular party in the alliance. Except for the fact that BJP is in power at the Center, there is no way the Saffron party is the stronger partner in the alliance. But then, BJP is calling shots in the alliance and is dictating terms for Janasena. Pawan Kalyan let go of his party issues like Amaravati and is taking Hindutva issues of BJP as its agenda.

It does not harm to take up Hindutva issues for Janasena but getting itself fit exactly into the agenda of BJP comes as a total surprise. The agenda of BJP is proven damp squib as the party has been struggling to gain the confidence of the people in Andhra Pradesh over the years.
