Bail Canceled for the Accused in Kodi Kathi Case SrinivasAndhra Pradesh High Court has canceled the bail of the accused, Srinivasa Rao in Jagan’s Kodi Kathi Attack case. National Investigating Agency (NIA) filed a petition in the high court seeking the cancellation of the bail. NIA said the NIA did not take cognizance of their appeal previously.

The High Court agreed with NIA and canceled the bail. NIA officials alleged that the accused can influence the case investigation if he is not in jail. The court agreed to this view. The accused spent almost nine months in jail before he was granted bail. Interestingly, the bail coincided with Jagan coming to Power.

On August 25 the last year, the then Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was attacked with a Rooster Knife in Vishakapatnam Airport. Later it was known that the accused himself is a fan of Jagan and has resorted to the attack to create sympathy to Jagan ahead of the elections.

But YSR Congress refused to buy the argument and saw it as conspiracy to assassinate their leader. Upon their demands, the investigation was handed over to the NIA
