Looks like things are not at all going on in YSR Congress’ favour in the state. The party already lost 13 of its MLAs to the ruling party’s Operation Akarsha and there are reports that more MLAs are in life in a week or two. The party had decided to take its MLAs and MLCs to Delhi and complain over the defections.
The plan is to meet Prime Minister, President of India and leaders of other parties, to bring to their notice about the defections drive going on in Andhra Pradesh. The MLAs, MLCs and other leaders took Spice Jet flight in Hyderabad. But immediately after the take off, a technical problem surfaced.
The pilot did an emergency landing back in Hyderabad. Finally the party arranged some other flight on emergency basis and took them to Delhi. On the other side, political experts say all these are only tricks to stay in news but is of very little use to YSR Congress in stopping the defections.
