Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy and his father Bhaskar Reddy are alleged to be the main accused in destroying evidence in Former MP Vivekananda Reddy’s Murder case. CBI so far questioned 207 people and recorded 146 statements in relation to this case.
After finding substantial evidence against the MP and his father, CBI Delhi Head Officer Special Crimes 3 Department tried to serve notice to the MP and his father on Thursday in Pulivendula. Reports are that they refused to accept the Notices.
CBI has approached Kadapa Court and will be serving the notices through the court later today. Viveka’s family members and many witnesses have testified against the MP tightening the noose around him and his father. Political circles are abuzz that the MP may be arrested as well in this case.
This case and the MP’s involvement has come as a huge headache for the Ruling YSR Congress. It will go to the next level if the MP is questioned or arrested.
