assassination-attack-on-narendra-modi-foiledNational Investigation Agency arrested 3 young men today, who are suspected to be from Al Qaeda from Chennai with the help of local police. There has been a joint operation with Tamilnadu and Telangana police in the last 24 hours which yielded in the arrest of 3 suspects. NIA is in search of other two men who are speculated to be involved in the activity.

NIA, as per reports, these men were planning to attack PM Narendra Modi and other 22 politicians and also were involved in bombing at courts of Mysore, Nellore, Kollam, Chittoor, Kollam, and Malappuram.

The suspects are being interrogated in the presence of Intelligence Bureau. Later, they would be produced at Bengaluru Special court as said by officials.

Explosive elements and digital supplies we seized from the men. It has been known from them in the investigation that NRI businessmen were funding their operation. The occupations of those arrested were identified to be a painter, a librarian, and one that runs a chicken shop.

These arrests are being done since the last month where NIA have taken seven people into custody out of which six were arrested in Kerala. The information provided by the same revealed that network of terrorism had been spreading in south India in the recent time.
