Atmakur by-election got necessitated because of the sudden demise of Mekapati Goutham Reddy. His brother Vikram Reddy is contesting in the by-election.
With a respect to the departed soul, TDP and Janasena are not contesting. But BJP has put up a candidate and is the only prominent party against YSR Congress.
Naturally, the loyal TDP voters have to stay away from the election or vote for the existing candidates.
It seems that the cadre of the party has decided not to vote for YSR Congress and BJP.
Voting for YSRCP will ensure they cross the One Lakh majority which will give them an edge.
BJP should lose the deposit or it will be a headache to face their overaction.
It makes no sense to strengthen either party.
So, the TDP cadre in the constituency had decided to vote for candidates belonging to BSP and independent.
Today is the last day of the campaign and the polling will happen on the 23rd. The results will be out on June 26th.
