Assembly Rejection not a matter to T-Bill

Andhra Pradesh Assembly voted in favour of Chief Minister’s resolution to reject the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill-2013. While Telangana Representatives continue to put up a brave face, Seema Andhra people are praising Kiran Kumar Reddy as Champion of Samayikya Andhra cause. But does his resolution under Section 77 really matters? Will it be able to stop the state bifurcation.

According to Deputy Speaker, Bhatti Vikramarkha, Assembly Rejection will not be sent to the President or the Parliament. He tells us that Section 77 does not comes under Article 3 (State bifurcation clause). So, it will not be sent along with the bill. The bill passed in Assembly against the bifurcation will only be sent to Andhra Pradesh State Government. So, President or Parliament may not even consider the rejection.`
