As-World-Cup-Enters-Crucial-stage,-What-Are-India's-ProspectsTeam India will have a jam-packed schedule for the next 10 days. The team will play four league games in 10 days, starting with the clash against West Indies today. India then takes on England on June 30 and Bangladesh on July 2nd, both in Birmingham. India finishes off their league engagements against Sri Lanka at Leeds on July 6.

The team is currently third on the Points Table with Australia and New Zealand ahead of it. Australia played Seven of their league matches while Kiwis played Six. India played only five so far. India is the only unbeaten teams in the tournament so far after New Zealand lost to Pakistan last night and we know the match between India and New Zealand was washed out.
Rest of the matches should not be difficult for Team India. West Indies and Bangladesh should not be difficult to defeat despite their recent heroics. Sri Lanka except for a single good performance is clearly struggling in this Tournament. England despite entering the tournament as favorites have not put up a great performance.

Team India has managed to lay hands to the coveted World Cup Trophy only twice until now – in 1983 and 2011. It has to be seen if they can do it once again. If New Zealand or England manages to win, it will be their first ever. The current Table Toper, Australia managed to win the cup for five times, the highest in Cricket History.
