Arun -Jaitley Statement in Parliament About Assistance to Andhra PradeshTDP MPs who are agitating against the central government were initially slow and later increased the pace in the Parliament. Multiple adjournments were followed by MPs refusing to come to the discussion with Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Venkaiah Naidu.

Sujana Chowdary clarified that the protests cannot be stopped until the Prime Minister or Finance Minister give a statement in the floor of the house. Arun Jaitley went on to say that the loss of Special Status will be compensated with Externally Aided Projects.

He also mentioned that Chandrababu is asking to give the funds through NABARD instead of EAPs but there are some technical problems in that. He went on to say that AP Finance Secretary was asked to come to Delhi to discuss all this in detail.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal went on to say that they are favorably considering Railway Zone with Vishakapatnam as headquarters and they are in talks with the stakeholders about the same. It has to be seen if TDP will be satisfied with this statements and withdraw their protests.
