Arun Jaitley Amaravati Foundation Stone Administrative CityOne more high profile Central visit to Amaravati resulted in nothing to Andhra Pradesh. If Prime Minister Narendra Modi just got some mud and water, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley did not get even that as he laid the foundation stone for Andhra Pradesh Administrative Complex in Lingayapalem in Amaravati Area.

People have expected Jaitley to make some announcement at least a smaller help but then Jaitley just carried on with his routine talk of fulfilling all the promises made to the state during the bifurcation. He also went on to say that the Central government has helped the state to the extent of 34000 Crore to the state after the bifurcation.

The Administrative Complex will come up in 950 acres and will cost a whopping 5600 Crore to the state exchequer. Important Government buildings like Secretariat, Assembly, Council, Raj Bhavan, CM Residence, HOD offices, Residences of Ministers, officials and employees will also be a part of this Administration Complex. The Government is expecting the construction to be complete by December 2018.
