Yaga Sthali is being readied for Chaturveda Swaahaakara Purassara Maharudra Puracharana Sahita Ayuta Chandi Maha Homam to be performed by Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao at his farm house on the outskirts of this village in Jagadevpur mandal of Medak district.
The Yaga Sthali is spread in 25 acres in addition to 15 acres for parking. Security agencies have already taken the whole area in to their custody as several VIPs are attending the event including President of India.
Cottages resembling the traditional ashramas, are being constructed for purohits who will perform this yagam. They will be treated with food and accommodation on the days of Yagam. This will be the first of its kind Yagam being performed by any Chief Minister so far.
