It is known that Kothapalli Geetha, the YSRCP MP from Araku was unhappy with party sidelining her. She alleged that the party is looking down on her as she is an ST and a lady. There were news last month that she is shifting her loyalities to TDP or BJP but she condemned those back then. But Geetha met Uttarandhra TDP Senior leader and Minister, Ayanna Pathrudu a short while ago.
After the meeting, Ayyanna speaking to press said that TDP will invite Geetha in to their party. So, the indications are strong that she will be joining TDP very soon. We will have to see how she deals with the anti-defection law. Kothapalli Geetha formerly worked in very senior position of Revenue department. She won the Araku Parliament comfortably and recently made very good speech in Parliament on her debut.
