Chandrababu announces boundaries of AP capital!The crucial meeting for the Special Status and Package promised for Andhra Pradesh went on in favourable environment in Delhi on Wednesday. Union Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitaraman chaired the meeting with the officials. Union Ministers of TDP, Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Sujana Chowdary also participated in the meeting. It is reliably learnt that the special package announcement may come in the next 10 days itself.

Three more meetings will be held regarding this issue on 17,18 and 19th of this month and the announcement may come after the Prime Minister is back in the country after his foreign tour. We are said that the Special Status which may confined to backward areas of the state will also be announced but will come in to effect only in the next financial year.

It is known that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu recently in his Delhi visit met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Union Ministers and put in several demands like Special Status, Tax incentives for industries, 24,350 Crores of Special Development package. Chandrababu also demanded center to bear the first year deficit of 24,811 Crores in the budget as grants which was promised according to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act.
