Andhra Pradesh is ranked in the list of the states with the Most Investment Potential, according to a report by National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER). The other Telugu State, Telangana is in a fifth of the list. AP has improved its position by One Place when compared to the last year while Telangana has improved Eight Places.
Gujarat and Delhi which have got the natural advantages in many ways are positioned at the Top Two Places. Industrially developed States like Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh are not in the Top-5 Places of the states.
The States enjoying the Special Category Status are also not in the Top-10 Places. Both the Telugu States have put up a good show despite having to battle Bifurcation Blues. Andhra Pradesh is particularly good having no Capital City and fighting a Deficit Budget.
