Andhra Pradesh government had decided to withdraw its forces from Hyderabad after Governor insisted. ESL Narasimhan in his meeting with AP DGP JV Ramudu and CS Krishna Rao convinced them to withdraw the forces and it is likely to brew a constitutional crisis.
At one stage, AP government proposed to deploy its own forces for the protection of its Chief Minister, MLAs, Ministers, Offices etc. AP DGP JV Ramudu had asked 400 AP Police in Hyderabad to come back to Andhra Pradesh.
However AP Police still continue to protect Chandrababu Naidu in some key areas including NTR Bhavan. It is also said that Governor also facilitated a meeting between the DGPs of both the states over the law and order in Hyderabad. The meeting is likely to take place today itself.
