AP Minister Adimulapu Suresh's Name Figures in Raithu Bharosa Beneficiaries List Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is going to launch his prestigious YSR Raithu Bharosa Scheme from the 15th of this month from Nellore. There are reports that Jagan has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the inauguration but it is not confirmed if the latter will attend or not.

The State Government has imposed several riders for the scheme to keep the beneficiaries to the minimum. The government defended its move saying that it intends to help only the poor farmers. But then, Education Minister, Dr. Adimulapu Suresh figured in the beneficiaries list even though he falls out of the eligibility criteria.

After a huge controversy was blown out after the news spread. The Government had taken remedial measures. The Minister himself came before the media and announced that it is a goof-up of the officials and instructed them to inquire about what went wrong. There is criticism about how the beneficiaries were finalized for the scheme.

The State Government gives 6500 Rupees to every beneficiary (One in a family) in the scheme along with the 6000 Rupees given under the Central Government Scheme.
