Jagan To Take Legal Route on Bad Press? The Two Bills pertaining to the three capitals in Andhra Pradesh were stalled in the Council. The State Government is trying to push those bills bypassing the council. Meanwhile, the issue is already in the courts and is a matter of prejudice. But the state government is not carrying anything.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is keen to go forward with the idea despite all the hindrances. The Chief Minister will preside over a high-level meeting on Feb 20th to discuss over bringing an ordinance on the issue of the Capital city. The Government is also planning to move key offices of Irrigation, R&B, Panchayat Raj and Municipal departments to Vishakapatnam.

Despite the intervention of the High Court, two offices of Vigilance are being moved to Kurnool. The Government in the court went on to say that this is due to the space constraint in Velagapudi Secretariat. The government wants to move more offices citing the same reason.

Meanwhile, the agitation of farmers in Amaravati has reached the 63rd day.
