YS Jagan -Pension SchemeIn the wake of a massive financial crisis Andhra, Andhra Pradesh Government is trying to cut down the expenses under welfare schemes. The Government as we know has already started removing Ration cards. Even Village and Ward Secretariat employees who do not have permanent jobs are losing their cards.

Now the Government is trying save bucks from the 14,000 Crore pensions bill. Until now, pensions have a privilege to take their pensions at once in three months. But from now, the pensions will be removed if at least one month pension is not taken.

The Government says some people who are staying in other states are coming to the state once in three months and taking their pensions. So to discourage them, the rule is being changed. This will be a big inconvenience for those who go to other states for work for temporary reasons as well.

But then, the Government is expected to saving bucks which is crucial at this juncture. Meanwhile, September is here and a team of Finance Department has camped in Delhi trying for loan to pay salaries and pensions.
