YS JaganNampally court has directed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy to appear before it on the 12th of this month. Going into details, a case has been registered against YS Jagan for campaigning on National Highway 65 during the 2014 general elections.

A case was registered against him at the Kodada police station at that time as conducting an election campaign on a national highway is a violation of the Code of Conduct for Elections. Police have recently filed a charge sheet in connection with the case.

They have included Jagan as A1 in this case. The court struck down the case against A2 and A3 as they personally appeared in court and struck down the case by giving an explanation. YS Jagan, who is currently in A1 in the same case, has not yet appeared for trial.

As a result, the Nampally court issued the summons. She was ordered to appear in court on the 12th of this month. Sources say that the Chief Minister will appeal to the court to seek an exemption from personal appearance.
