Angry Center Stalls Amaravati - Anantapur Express Highway Project of Andhra PradeshUnion Government is showing the TDP Government in Andhra Pradesh what it can do for defying Narendra Modi and coming out of the NDA. The Center has now stalled the proposed Expressway between Amaravati and Anantapur which will connect Rayalaseema to the new capital.

This was proposed as an Eight-lane road and Center now wants it to be made a four-lane road. It has asked the State Government to prepare the new DPR accordingly. The Center also refused to help in the land acquisition for this project.

Central Government repeatedly claimed that it will support this project but lost interest after TDP quit NDA. It has to be seen how the BJP State Leaders who have recently passed the Rayalaseema Resolution support this move which hinders the development of Seema.
